Founded in 1737, the Limoges factory was initially dedicated to the manufacture of earthenware. In 1771, the first pieces of \"hard\" porcelain bearing the \"Limoges\" stamp were created. It was then placed under the protection of the Count of Artois, brother of Louis XVI, and became the Manufacture Royale de Limoges. Sold during the Revolution and then acquired by various owners, the Ancienne Manufacture Royale de Limoges joined the Bernardaud group in 1986. In collaboration with the most prestigious national and international museums, Bernardaud thus contributes to keeping the pleasures of the table alive as well as to the preservation of know-how associated with an extremely rich heritage, illustrating the French art of living. The Ancienne Manufacture Royale produces all its historical models in its Limoges workshops, according to the strictest quality requirements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eSome examples of identical
